1. Adele-21
Don’t roll your eyes, you knew it was coming. Honesty never sounded so sweet, and her vocal performance is honest and vulnerable. My favorite Adele record is actually-19 because of the rawness in her voice. As much as some are tired of hearing about this record, the writing is superb, the vocals are honest , and the topics relatable.

2. KWJZ- Watch The Throne
i wouldn’t consider myself a rap expert at all, but I can listen to this record straight through. “Me and the rhythm connect” is one of my favorite lines from the most honest record on the album “New Day”. The play on words combined with intelligent choices for instrumentation made this record an instant favorite for me.

I will always be team Beyonce, though the album didn’t have the staple Top 40 sound we are all use to, I thought the 6 key change on “Love on Top’ deserved a standing ovation alone.This album is all about the vocals, and she delivers some vocal moments that make this album a winner.
